J. BENTLEY RADCLIFF has served as CEO since founding CompeteNet in 1997.
He has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry with such
notable high-tech firms as Sun Microsystems, Apple Computer, and Unisys
Corporation. Mr. Radcliff is considered an expert in the development of
effective competitive selling strategies, and, as such, has consulted
with many top technology companies, including Apple, Compaq, Dell
Computer, Digital Equipment, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Intel, Motorola, Sun
Microsystems, and Unisys. While spending over five years in Silicon
Valley with Sun and Apple, Mr. Radcliff performed a variety of sales and
marketing functions. While he was a Senior Sales Executive with Apple
Computer, the company achieved its highest success in software sales
since the introduction of the Macintosh. At Sun Microsystems, he
developed software strategies with Sun's senior management, including
the CEO and COO, and helped create the Solaris operating system brand.
From 1997-2001, Mr. Radcliff served as Marketing Chairperson for the
UNIX international standards organization, which was responsible for
driving standards for UNIX system software throughout the industry. In
high demand as a motivational speaker, Mr. Radcliff has made
presentations before large sales audiences worldwide in over 39
countries since 1995. His focus is in helping drive more effective sales
programs, which led to his invention of SimSell(tm), a state-of-the-art
continual learning solution that helps sales forces gain and maintain a
sustainable competitive advantage. Mr. Radcliff holds a B.B.A. in
Marketing and Franchise from the University of Miami. As CompeteNet CEO,
