IMAGING TECHNOLOGY:AN OVERVIEW: CHRISTOPHER CHUTE – IDC

CHRISTOPHER CHUTE is a Senior Research Analyst with IDC's Digital Imaging Solutions and Services Group. He is responsible for tracking devices and vendors in one of the fastest growing technology markets: digital imaging. He focuses on the digital still camera, digital video camera, camera phone and PC camera markets, as well as other emerging digital imaging technology markets. He conducts forecasting, technology and product analysis for these markets from both a supply- and demand- side perspective. His research helps illuminate industry opportunities, trends, and future requirements. He has been quoted in a variety of publications, including Time magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Investor's Business Daily, Fortune magazine, Forbes magazine, and CNET News. He joined IDC in June 2000. Prior to his current position with IDC, Mr. Chute was a Project Manager at Linkage, Incorporated, a global human resources consulting company.
