HILARY CROPPER CBE, joined F.I.Group in 1985 and has been Chief
Executive Officer since 1987. Hilary led an employee buy-out in 1991
and subsequently floated the Company on the London Stock Exchange in
April 1996. The workforce collectively owns about 40% of the equity.
FI is a business technology services company and a UK market leader in
Applications Management. Ms Cropper is a Non-Executive Director of
Barclays Plc (appointed in June 1998), a Governor of the University of
Hertfordshire (appointed in September 1995) and a Member of the
Financial Reporting Council (appointed in November 1997). In the past,
she has served as a Non-Executive Member of the Post Office Board
(1990-96), as a Non-Executive Director of TSB Bank plc (1987-90) and as
a Non-Executive Director of London First (1996-99). A Freeman of the
City of London and a Founder Member of the Worshipful Company of
