Henry B. Dunlap-smith – Harris Bretall Sullivan & Smith Inc

HENRY B. DUNLAP SMITH, CFA. Mr. Smith joined the firm in 1984 as a partner. He serves as Chairman of the firm's Management and Strategy Committees. He has additional responsibilities involving the firm's M.I.S. and operational capabilities. As one of the senior analysts/portfolio managers, he covers the computer software and finance sectors. In 1975, he joined Western Asset Management Company as a senior portfolio manager. In 1981 he became manager of their San Francisco office and a member of the firm's management committee. In 1984 he helped merge their equity management group into Harris Bretall. Previously, he was associated with Clark, Dodge & Co. and Kidder Peabody & Co. Mr. Smith received his B.A. in Political Science and Economics in 1972 from The Colorado College. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Chartered Investment Counselor, and a member of the Financial Analysts Federation. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Security Analysts of San Francisco. Mr. Smith is married with four children.
