George Gleason – Bank Of The Ozarks Inc

GEORGE GLEASON, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of the Ozarks, Inc., has 24 years of banking experience. Mr. Gleason purchased controlling interest in Bank of Ozark, now Bank of the Ozarks, in 1979, serving from that time to the present as its Chief Executive Officer. Since formation of Bank of the Ozarks, Inc., in 1981, he has also served as its Chief Executive Officer and as Chief Executive Officer of each of Bank of the Ozarks, Inc.'s subsidiaries. Since 1993 he has also served as Chairman of the Boards of Bank of the Ozarks, Inc., and each of its subsidiaries. Prior to 1979 Mr. Gleason practiced law at a major firm in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mr. Gleason holds a BA in Business and Economics from Hendrix College, Conway, Arkansas and a JD from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Profile
