FRANCISCO ALZURU is a portfolio manager and senior research analyst with
Hansberger Global Investors. His research responsibilities include the
European banking sector and geographic responsibility for Spain,
Portugal and some South American countries. Prior to HGI, Mr. Alzuru was
a Vice President and Senior Research Analyst at Vestcorp Partners, a
Latin American-based investment bank, covering Latin America. At
Vestcorp Partners, Mr. Alzuru supervised the group's sellside research
effort in Venezuela and Peru and was involved in buyside research as
part of a four member team based in Miami, Florida. Additionally, he
shared portfolio management responsibilities for Latin American separate
accounts. Mr. Alzuru received a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban
Planning from the Universidad Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela, and
his Master's degree in Finance from Oklahoma City University in
Oklahoma. Mr. Alzuru is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA
Institute and the Financial Analysts Society of South Florida. He is
