Evan Jones – Digene Corporation (dige)

EVAN JONES is Chairman & CEO of Digene Corporation. He served as President and CEO of Digene from July 1990 to July 1999. From 1988 to September 1990, Mr. Jones served as President of Neomorphics, Inc., a Boston area company specializing in transplantation technologies. Between 1987 and 1990, he was first an Associate and then a Partner with the CW Group, a healthcare venture capital firm. From 1983 to 1987, Mr. Jones was employed by Perkin-Elmer Corporation, a biotechnology supply company, ultimately serving as Worldwide Biotechnology Marketing Manager. He received a BA in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Profile
