Tony Shiret

TONY SHIRET is an analyst covering the non-food retail sector in Europe.
A graduate of Cambridge University, he is also an associate member of
the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. He has worked
for J Sainsbury Plc in the Treasurer’s Department and commenced his
career as an equity research analyst in 1987. Since 1993, he has worked
for Barclays de Zoete Wedd/Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB purchased
BZW in 1998). He has been ranked in the top three of general retail
research in the UK since 1993. He has recently married and has a seven
month old son.
