Keith S. Cowan

KEITH S. COWAN has been President and Chief Executive Officer of
Overland Park, Kansas-based Elecsys Corporation since the company was
formed in 1991. During that time he has led revenue growth from $2
million in 1991 to over $20 million. He also completed a strategic
transformation of the company from an OEM provider of navigation systems
to electronic manufacturing services provider, positioning the company
to compete in a much larger, growing market. Prior to Elecsys, Mr. Cowan
was Vice President of Instrumentation Products at Teledyne Controls’
division in Los Angeles. He was responsible for the successful execution
of a variety of aerospace programs for leading aircraft manufacturers
and the military. Mr. Cowan started his career as a Software Engineer at
System Development Corporation where he developed secure computer
networking software for the banking and defense customers. Mr. Cowan
received a BS degree in Management, Magna Cum Laude, from Pepperdine
University in 1981.
