Johnny Wang

JOHNNY WANG, President and CEO of Divio, Inc., earned his BSEE from
Chiao-Tung University in Taiwan and then was awarded an MSEE with honors
from Texas A&M. After starting his career at Xicor in process
engineering, he moved to IDT, where Mr. Wang spent three years working
in process characterization and device physics. He then worked at Lucky
Goldstar as a Circuit Designer for SRAM, ROM and DRAM products. Prior to
founding Divio, Inc., Mr. Wang spent four years at C-Cube, where he was
the Principal Core Architect and Designer of C-Cube’s JPEG codec and
also the Design Manager. Mr. Wang then founded Divio in 1995 to develop
a new approach to video compression.
