Joe Backer

JOE BACKER has served as NEON’s President and Chief Executive Officer
and as a member of NEON’s Board of Directors since November 1995. From
December 1993 to October 1995, Mr. Backer was a private investor. Mr.
Backer held the position of Senior Vice President of BMC from November
1989 to November 1993. Mr. Backer also serves as President, Chief
Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of
Peregrine/Bridge Transfer Corporation and Skunkware. In addition, Mr.
Backer serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Pavilion
Technologies Inc., a privately held software company headquartered in
Austin, Texas. Mr. Backer holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from
Purdue University.
