Jocelyn Waller

JOCELYN WALLER is the Chief Executive of Avocet Mining Plc. After
graduating from Cambridge University in 1966 he spent 22 years with the
Anglo American/Charter Consolidated group. He had management positions
with the Tronoh group of tin mines in Malaysia and Thailand (1969-1974),
the SMTF copper/cobalt project in Zaire (1974-1977), Cleveland Potash
Ltd. in UK (1977-1980), Beralt Tin & Wolfram in Portugal (1980-1988) and
Charter Consolidated Plc in London (Commercial Manager of the Mining
Division 1980-1988). In 1989 he set up Avocet and has been Chief
Executive of that company ever since.
