JIM RIGGS Founder and CEO Shea Commercial Jim Riggs, CEO and founder of
Shea Commercial, pioneered the development of office condominiums and is
the country’s foremost authority on this market segment. Because of
Jim’s vision and strategic direction, Shea Commercial is the largest
developer of office condominiums in the country and is currently
developing the country’s largest office condo project in Scottsdale,
Ariz. The company, which began operating in 1999, has offices in
Scottsdale, Plano, Texas and Las Vegas. In 2003, the company developed
approximately 1.2 million square feet of Class A office condos. Every
project sold out within 60 days of project completion, and more than 250
suites have sold without a resale. Most projects have a waiting list.
Jim received his undergraduate and law degrees from Georgetown
University before joining a family real estate business in southern N.J.
