Jim Green

JIM GREEN, Chairman, CEO and founder of Active Software, Inc., has more
than 20 years of experience in developing products and technology for
distributed computing environments. In addition to his duties as
Chairman and CEO, Mr. Green drives the product strategy at Active
Software. Prior to founding Active Software, Mr. Green spent seven years
at Sun Microsystems where he established and managed Sun’s distributed
objects program, which included the creation of the Common Object
Request Broker Architecture (COBRA) specification. Before joining Sun,
Mr. Green developed a wide range of networking and distributed computing
products. He holds an MS degree in Industrial Engineering and an MS
degree in Computer Science.
