Jim Benson

JIM BENSON is President and Chief Executive Officer of John Hancock Life
Insurance Company, a division of Manulife Financial Corporation.
Additionally, Mr. Benson serves on the Manulife Executive and Management
Committees. Mr. Benson, based in Boston, is responsible for the growth
and success of John Hancock’s protection businesses, including life and
long-term care insurance. In addition, Mr. Benson oversees the John
Hancock Financial Network, the company’s career agency system.
