Jeffrey C. Benzing

JEFFREY C. BENZING has been Executive Vice President, Systems
Development, Engineering and Manufacturing Operations at Novellus
Systems, Inc., since 1999. Prior to his current position, he had been
the company’s Vice President in charge of Product Development since
1992. Mr. Benzing came to Novellus in 1988 from Benzing Technologies
where he had been co-founder and Vice President of Engineering since
1984. From 1979 to 1984 he held various positions at Hewlett-Packard
Company. Mr. Benzing earned his Bachelor’s degree in mechanical
engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and his
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
