Jean-Christophe Misfud

JEAN-CHRISTOPHE MISFUD is President and Chief Executive Officer of ALPHA
MOS, a worldwide leading company in Smart Sensing Systems like
Electronic noses and Electronic tongues, headquartered in Toulouse,
France. He founded this company in 1993, with a mission to digitalise
the human senses, particularly those of smell and taste. ALPHA MOS has
been floated on the Nouveau March of the Bourse in Paris since 1998.
Before setting up ALPHA MOS, Jean-Christophe Misfud worked with the
Merger and Acquisitions Department of Rhone-Poulenc Inc. USA, and as
Marketing Manager for CIBA-GEIGY in Switzerland. He first earned a
Chemical Engineering degree from Toulouse University. He holds also a
MBA from the ESSEC Business School in Paris, and finalised his
scientific training by obtaining a post-doctoral specialisation in
Neurochemistry at Princeton University, New Jersey, USA. He also hods
several patents in various fields.
