James Tillar

JAMES TILLAR is Assistant Vice President and Equity Strategist at Dean
Investment Associates. Dean is a Dayton, Ohio based money management
firm with $4.2 billion under management. He manages all aspects of the
company’s tax efficient equity product, which is called blue chip Plus.
He is a member of the firm’s Central Investment Committee, which
supervises all of the firm’s investment styles. Mr. Tillar worked for a
west coast investment firm prior to joining Dean in 1987. He earned his
Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1989 and is a member of the
Dayton Chapter of Financial Analysts. Mr. Tillar received a B.A. from
the University of Notre Dame. He is a board member for Big Brothers/Big
Sisters of Greater Dayton. His hobbies include golf, squash and reading.
Mr. Tillar is marrried and has two children.
