James R. Riedman

JAMES R. RIEDMAN is Chairman & CEO of Daniel Green Company. He holds
Master’s degrees in Risk and Insurance, and Finance from the University
of Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Before joining the firm in
1987, he developed his insurance skills as Director of Corporate
Planning with Balboa Insurance Group and later as Senior Vice President
of Transamerica Financial Systems & Concepts. Currently he is:
President-Riedman Corporation; Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and a
Director of Daniel Green Company; Executive Vice President-Brown &
Brown, Inc.; Director-Harris Interactive; and Director-MCC Foundation.
His community affiliations include Director of St. Ann’s Home, Former
Director of YMCA of Greater Rochester and Advisory Board Member for the
Boy Scouts. He is Former Development Chair for the NYS Special Olympics
and currently serves as a fund raiser for numerous other charitable
organizations.
