James J. Fitzsimmons

JAMES J. FITZSIMMONS is President and Chief Executive Officer of
Amicore. He is also a member of the Amicore Board of Directors. Mr.
Fitzsimmons has extensive experience in technology companies as well as
the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Amicore, Mr. Fitzsimmons
served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of TargetFirst, a
California-based technology company specializing in the creation of
innovative online marketing tools for small to medium-sized Web-centric
businesses. From 1992 to 1999, Mr. Fitzsimmons held leadership positions
with several healthcare companies. Most recently, he was the President
and Chief Executive Officer of Phyve, a San Francisco-based company
providing enterprise security solutions to the healthcare industry. He
was also the President, CEO and co-Founder of Interactive Diagnostic
Services, a technology-based health services company providing managed
care imaging services. Earlier in his career, Mr. Fitzsimmons worked in
strategic and financial planning capacities for large corporations,
including Pepsico, PaineWebber Group, and Booz Allen & Hamilton. Mr.
Fitzsimmons earned a BA degree in Economics from Harvard University and
an MBA from the University of Chicago.
