James A. Brady

JAMES A. BRADY, MD is the Medical Research Coordinator for RenalTech
International, LLC. He joined the company in November 1997 and focuses
on the clinical aspects of the company’s technology, especially issues
of biocompatibility and cartridge performance. His responsibilities
include the analysis and interpretation of in vitro and in vivo studies
of the BetaSorb_ device. Dr. Brady utilizes his clinical experience to
investigate additional applications of the company’s technology, and
establishes and maintains relationships with clinicians and research
collaborators in various medical specialties. Dr. Brady received his MD
from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1992,
graduating with highest honors, and was both a General Surgery Resident
and a Plastic Surgery Resident at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital. He was
elected a member of Alpha Omega Alpha in 1992, and has received numerous
distinctions and awards in the field of medicine. Dr. Brady received his
BA in Biology from Amherst College in 1988. Dr. Brady continues to be a
practicing surgeon in addition to his role with RenalTech.
