Jacob Van Houdt

JACOB VAN HOUDT has been the Managing Director of Dataflex since 1995,
when he joined from Amstrad. He has over 20 years’ experience in the
communications products industry, gained in the UK, Germany and the
Netherlands. At Amstrad, he was Business Manager for New Products in the
Communications division, and subsequently became Managing Director of
Dataflex. Prior to joining Amstrad, he spent 15 years at Philips where
he held a number of technical managerial roles, including, General
Manager for International Development and Supply for Philips
Kommunikations Industrie in Germany where he was responsible for
turnover of nearly DEM200 million; Development Director for Philips
Business Communications in Scotland where he was responsible for a team
of 100 engineers and Vice-President Technology at Philips Advanced
Communications. He holds a MSc in Technical Physics.
