Izhar Shay

IZHAR SHAY has been President and CEO of Business Layers, Inc., since
co-founding the company in March 1999. Under his leadership the company
has defined eProvisioning as a new e-Business infrastructure market
segment, and it has become a dominant player in this market. This has
been accomplished through sound business understanding and a clear
vision, leveraging technology and product innovation, by securing
strategic partnerships with leading vendors and system integrator
partners and by selling eProvisioning solutions to global customers. Mr.
Shay has over 20 years of experience in management, business and
technical positions. Before founding Business Layers, he was Vice
President of Business Development with the BRM venture capital group.
Previous to BRM, he was founder and President of Allied Technologies, a
service company with offices in the US, Canada and Israel, which
supported startup companies in their early phase penetration into the
North American market. He also held the position of Director,
Engineering and Technical Support for North America and Mexico with RAD
Network Devices, a manufacturer of data communications equipment. An
officer in the Israel Defense Forces, Paratrooper Unit, Mr. Shay also
managed a civil security unit for two years. He holds a BSc in
Electrical Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology in
Haifa, Israel.
