Ido Schechter

IDO SCHECHTER has been with Top Image Systems, Ltd., for seven years,
and has held the company’s Chief Executive Officer position for the past
two years. During 2001 he had launched TiS’ ASP initiative in the United
States. Prior to that, from mid-1996 to the end of 2000, Dr. Schechter
had been Top Image System’s Vice President of Sales. From January 1995
until mid-1996, Dr. Schechter served as General Manager of Super Image,
an affiliate of TiS, which operates a form-processing service bureau. In
the period from August 1993 to the end of 1994, he supervised the start-
up of automatic form processing services at Israel Credit Cards, Ltd.
Previously, from 1991 to 1993, Dr. Schechter had been a research
scientist at the Horticultural Research Institute of Ontario, Canada.
Dr. Schechter is the recipient of eight honors and scholarships and has
published and presented more than 25 articles. He is a Captain of an
intelligence unit in the Israeli Air Force. He received his PhD and MSc
in Plant Physiology from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada,
and his BSc from the Hebrew University in Israel.
