Howard Shore

HOWARD SHORE founded Shore Capital the investment banking boutique in
1985 aged 25 and is Executive Chairman of the Group. He began his career
in private client discretionary fund management with Grievson Grant & Co
(now part of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson.) After a degree in Economics
from Cambridge, he worked as a financial futures broker when LIFFE was
being established. Shore Capital Group specialises in building
relationships with wealthy entrepreneurs offering both stock brokerage
and corporate finance services. The Group also has a specialist smaller
companies market-making operation. The fastest growing area of the Group
is development of capital fund management. The Group floated on the AIM
market in August 2000 and currently has a market capitalisation of
GBP150 million.
