Gregory L. Weaver

GREGORY L. WEAVER is Chief Financial Officer of Nastech
Pharmaceutical Company Inc. Prior to joining Nastech in May 2002,
Mr. Weaver held the positions of Vice President, Strategic
Development, and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of
Ilex Oncology, Inc., an oncology-focused biopharmaceutical
company. Prior to Ilex, Mr. Weaver held several senior financial
management positions, including Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer of Prism Technologies, a medical device
company, and Chief Financial Officer of a division of Fidelity
Capital-Newspaper Publishing. Mr. Weaver received a Master of
Business Administration degree in Finance from Boston College and
a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Trinity
University in San Antonio. He also served in the United States
Air Force. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
