Gary A. Monetti

GARY A. MONETTI joined Sawtek in 1982, and was promoted to Chief
Executive Officer as of October 1, 1999. He served as President from
April 1997 to September 1999, Chief Operating Officer from July 1995 to
September 1999, and Vice President of Operations from July 1995 to April
1997. He has served in various positions, since 1982, at Sawtek,
including Filter Design Engineer, Manager of Filter Technology, Vice
President of Sales and Marketing and Vice President of Engineering. Mr.
Monetti has a MBA degree from Rollins College and a BS degree in
Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois. Mr. Monetti was
appointed to the Board of Directors in April 1998.
