Jack Rowell

Dr. JACK ROWELL was educated at Oxford reading politics, philosophy and
economics. He qualified as a chartered accountant, became a Fellow of
the Institution of Chartered Accountants and later was made an Honorary
Doctor of Law from Bath. Jack Rowell moved out of the accountancy
profession into Procter & Gamble as a career development move to work in
industrial financial management for an organisation which offered
tremendous opportunity for professional growth and development. He moved
to Lucas as finance director, and later became Chief Executive of Lucas,
part of the Dalgety group. Jack Rowell then became Chief Executive of
Golden Wonder (another part of Dalgety group) then on to the board as
Director of Dalgety plc with responsibility for the Consumer Foods
Division. Since then he has become Chairman of 5 companies and is
currently Chief Executive of Celsis International plc.
