Gualberto Ruano

DR. GUALBERTO RUANO is a co-Founder of Genaissance Pharmaceuticals,
Inc., and has served as CEO since its inception. He has over 10 years of
biotechnology management experience and previously served as CEO of BIOS
Laboratories. He is a pioneer in several molecular haplotyping
technologies for profiling genome diversity stemming from population and
evolutionary genetics. He is considered one of the industry’s leaders in
the impact of these methods on clinical medicine and drug development.
Dr. Ruao received his MD and PhD in Human Genetics from Yale University
and his BA from Johns Hopkins University where he received a Ford
Foundation Fellowship.
