JACK R. CASAGRANDE has been the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and a
Director of Star Services Group, Inc., since inception. In 1971, Mr.
Casagrande founded Industrial Waste Services, Inc. ('IWS') in Miami-Dade
County, Florida, and, by 1984, the company had grown to be the largest
waste hauling operation in the county and the second largest in the
State of Florida. In 1984, IWS was purchased by Attwoods, Plc and Mr.
Casagrande became head of US operations. During his tenure its revenues
grew from $24 million in 1984 to over $300 million by the end of 1993.
Attwoods had become the fourth-largest waste services company in the
United States prior to its acquisition by Browning-Ferris Industries
('BFI') in December 1994. From 1995 to 1998, Mr. Casagrande served as a
