Gordon Glenn – Systems Xcellence Inc (sxc.to)

GORDON 'STONIE' GLENN joined Systems Xcellence Inc. in June 1998 as President and Chief Operating Officer and was promoted to Chief Executive Officer on September 1, 1998. Prior to joining Systems Xcellence, Mr. Glenn enjoyed a 24-year career with Computer Data Systems Inc. (CDSI). Most recently, he served as CEO of the company for eight years. Under his direction, CDSI was chosen by Forbes Magazine as one of the country's 200 best managed small companies in the US from 1992 through 1996. Before being appointed CEO, Mr. Glenn was the President and Chief Operating Officer of the company, and during his eight-year leadership, CDSI's revenues grew from $66 million to more than $250 million. He held the positions of EVP of Professional Services Group, Vice President, Program Manager, Project Leader and Programmer/Analyst during his tenure at CDSI. Mr. Glenn began his technology career at RCA Computer Systems as a Systems Engineer in the Communications Department. Mr. Glenn is an active member of the community. While in the Washington, DC area, he served on the Boards of the Big Brothers of the National Capital Area and the Boy Scouts of America, National Capital Area Council. He also served on the planning committees for the 1977 U.S. Open and the 1995 U.S. Senior Open Golf Championships held at Congressional Country Club in Potomac, MD. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Mr. Glenn earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
