John G. Sample

JOHN G. SAMPLE JR. is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
of Atlantic American Corporation since July 1, 2002. He was formerly a
partner with Arthur Andersen in Atlanta, specializing within the firm in
the insurance and financial services industries. Mr. Sample is a member
of the Board of Directors for Bankers Fidelity and Georgia Casualty,
both companies domiciled in Georgia, Association Casualty, domiciled in
Texas, and is a Treasurer for Self Insurance Administrators, all of
which are part of Atlantic American Corporation. Mr. Sample received his
BBA with honors from Emory University and is a CPA licensed in the
states of Georgia and Tennessee. He holds memberships in the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of
Certified Public Accountants.
