Jeffrey Mortimer

JEFFREY MORTIMER is Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager in
Equity Portfolio Management at Charles Schwab Investment Management,
Inc., and is the Senior Portfolio Manager for the Schwab MarketManager
Balanced Portfolio, Schwab MarketManager Growth Portfolio, Schwab
MarketManager Small Cap Portfolios and Schwab MarketManager
International Portfolio. He joined SCIM in 1997. Before joining the
firm, Mr. Mortimer was employed by Higgins Associates in Cambridge,
Massachusetts, where he was Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining
Higgins, he was employed by Gannett Welsh & Koller, a money management
firm in Boston. Overall, Mr. Mortimer has over 11 years of experience in
asset allocation and manager/mutual fund selection. He graduated with an
MBA from the University of Chicago, and with a BS in Finance from Babson
College. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
