Jeff Sterba

JEFF STERBA is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of PNM
Resources, Inc. He has held a variety of positions during his 23 years
at PNM. Mr. Sterba has also been a leader in Albuquerque’s business
community. He was Chairman of the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of
Commerce and the Middle Rio Grande Business Education Compact. He has
been a strong supporter of efforts to revitalize Albuquerque’s downtown
area and is also currently Campaign Chair-Elect of United Way of Greater
Albuquerque and Vice Chair of the Economic Forum. Mr. Sterba returned to
PNM in 2000 after serving 14 months as Executive Vice President of USEC,
Inc., a global energy company headquartered in Maryland. He obtained his
undergraduate degree in Economics from Washington University in St.
Louis, graduating summa cum laude, and has completed some post-graduate
work in Economics.
