James W. Noyce

JAMES W. NOYCE, Chief Financial Officer of FBL Financial Group, Inc., is
a graduate of Drake University with a major in Actuarial Science and
Accounting. He joined FBL in 1985 and has held various positions in the
company before being promoted to CFO in 1995. In addition to his
responsibilities as CFO, he is also General Manager and Executive Vice
President of FBL’s managed property-casualty companies. Mr. Noyce is a
Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, a Member of the American
Academy of Actuaries, an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, a
Certified Public Accountant and a Fellow of the Life Management
Institute. He is also involved in many civic and industry organizations,
including a Director of the Mid-Iowa Council of Boy Scouts of America,
Special Olympics Iowa, Wesley Retirement Services and Grandview College.
He is also a past member of the executive committee of the National
Association of Independent Insurers Tax Committee and past Chairman of
Junior Achievement of Central Iowa.
