JAMES D. LIGHTNER is President of Tom Brown, Inc., a leading Denver-
based mid-sized E&P company. Tom Brown, Inc. has positioned itself
strategically for the resurgence of the North American natural gas
market by assembling an immense acreage position in the prospective
Rocky Mountain basins while generating a large portfolio of exploration
and exploration drilling projects. The company expects to grow its
production volumes in 2000 by 20% to 25%. Mr. Lightner joined Tom Brown
in May 1999 after spending 10 years at Enron Oil & Gas, most recently as
VP-General Manager of the Denver Division. Mr. Lightner has a BS from
Southern Illinois University and an MS from the Australian National
University, both in Geology.
