J. Michael Kirksey

J. MICHAEL KIRKSEY was one of the original founders of Metals USA, Inc.
and has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and
most recently as President and CEO. Prior to joining Metals USA, Mr.
Kirksey was employed by Keystone International, Inc., a New York Stock
Exchange company engaged in manufacturing and distributing flow control
products worldwide. From 1995 through February 1997, he was Director of
Business Development and Acquisitions for Keystone, managing all
acquisitions and other corporate development efforts. From 1993 to 1995,
he was Vice President of Finance for European operations based in
Brussels, Belgium, and from 1989 to 1993, he was Vice President and
Controller of Keystone. From 1976 to 1989, he was a Certified Public
Accountant with Arthur Andersen LLP where he specialized in assisting
fast growing companies.
