Gert Smit

GERT SMIT is Chairman of the board of management of Vedior NV. Prior to
holding this position, Mr Smit served on the management board of Vendex
from 1990 to 1997 and was in charge of the temporary employment
services, cleaning services activities and miscellaneous activities. Mr
Smit served as a director of this company from 1985 to 1990. Before
joining Vendex in 1985, Mr Smit served as President of the Esmil Groep,
member of the Hoogovens steel group.
