George Kurtz

GEORGE KURTZ is CEO of Foundstone, Inc. In addition to co-authoring the
international best selling security book Hacking Exposed: Network
Security Secrets & Solutions, Mr. Kurtz has written for or been quoted
in the following publications: Information Security News, USA Today, The
Wall Street Journal, Time, Associated Press, ComputerWorld, and
InfoWorld. Mr. Kurtz is an internationally recognized security expert
and frequent speaker at many of the major security conferences,
including: Gartner Security Conference, Networld+Interop, Black Hat, The
Internet Security Conference (TISC), and the Computer Security Institute
(CSI). Prior to co-founding Foundstone, Mr. Kurtz served as a Senior
Manager and the national leader of Ernst & Young’s Security Profiling
Services Group. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Mr. Kurtz was a Manager
at Price Waterhouse where he was responsible for developing their
network-based attack and penetration methodologies used around the
world.
