Fabrizio Landi

FABRIZIO LANDI graduated in Bioengineering at the Politecnico University
of Milan (Italy) in 1977. One year after graduation, he joined the
Italian subsidiary of Miles Inc.( a member of Bayer group). In 1981 he
joined a strategic working group created within Ansaldo to study the
possibility of a business diversification in medical electronics: after
the decision to implement within Ansaldo the medical electronics new
venture, he started to get responsibilities, within the Biomedical
Division of Ansaldo, mainly in marketing and sales and later in the
different business organisations that today have become the Esaote
Group. Today, further to managing responsibilities in the different
companies of the Group, he is General Manager for Sales and Marketing &
product Development of Esaote, he is also one of the company’s
shareholders, member of the shareholders’ syndicate together with the
other managers of the company and Bracco S.p.A. Outside the Esaote
group, Mr. Landi is on the Board of Directors of Bracco Diagnostic Inc.,
the U.S. subsidiary of the Baracco Group (Milan, Italy). The Esaote
Group based in Italy includes today six international subsidiaries with
exports equal to the 60% of total revenues and a sales volume in excess
of 300 billion Lire.
