Herbert Bammer

Dr. HERBERT BAMMER is the President of Austrian Airlines AG. Dr. Bammer
studied Law at Vienna University and graduated with a Doctor’s degree in
1963. Dr. Bammer joined Austrian Airlines in 1965 in the Sales
department, and subsequently became Head of Department for External
Affairs, Secretary General, Executive Vice President Economics and
Finance, Executive Vice President Commercial, Member of Management Board
responsible for Marketing and Sales, and in 1993 was promoted to
President. Dr. Bammer also served as Chairman of the Association of
European Airlines (AEA) and Chairman of the Board of Governors of the
International Air Transport Association (IATA).
