Gary Snable – Layton Bioscience Inc

GARY L. SNABLE is President & CEO and Director of Layton BioScience, Inc. Mr. Snable has over 30 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry with Richardson-Merrell, Inc., Fujisawa-SmithKline Corporation, Invitron Corporation, and now Layton BioScience, Inc. With Fujisawa- SmithKline, he was responsible for the growth of the company from an initial staff of four to a staff of over 70, with sales in the United States in excess of $25 million. At Invitron, Mr. Snable was responsible for introducing Invitron Technology to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies worldwide and for successfully negotiating major agreements with a number of leading firms. Mr. Snable helped found Layton BioScience in 1991. The company is currently conducting clinical trials to evaluate the effectiveness of LBS-Neurons_, human neuronal cells, to treat fixed neurological deficits resulting from stroke. The effort to repair brain damage caused by trauma or disease is a focus of Layton BioScience. The importance of this therapeutic strategy is becoming evident as the Phase IIa trial has demonstrated safety and feasibility with a trend toward efficacy in restoring lost motor function. Layton purchased Inversine' from Merck and has re-introduced Inversine' in the US. Layton is conducting clinical trials to evaluate the efficacy of Inversine' in a number of psychiatric disorders.
