JOHN E. STEFAN is the Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of the
Bank of Lancaster County, NA. Prior to joining Lancaster, he was with
Nanuet National Bank where he became Executive Vice President/Cashier
and a member of the Board of Directors (1963-1979). Mr. Stefan is a
graduate of Villanova University with a B.A. degree in Political
Science, 1961 and has an MBA degree in Banking from Columbia University,
1963. Presently, he is a member of various community organizations
contributing to the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation, the Economic
Development Company of Lancaster County, also Homestead Village, Inc.
and the Lancaster County Club and is Honorary Appeal Chair for The
Lancaster County Conservancy. Mr. Stefan is married and has two
children. He's also enjoys golfing and gardening. Profile
