Gerald Michael Nolan Corbett – Railtrack Group Plc

GERALD MICHAEL NOLAN CORBETT is the Chief Executive Officer of Railtrack PLC. His 24-year career began at Boston Consulting Group as a Case Leader (1975-1982). Other positions followed: Group Financial Controller, Dixons Group PLC (1982-1985); Corporate Finance Director (1985-1987) also at Dixons; Group Financial Director, Redland PLC (1987-1994); Group Finance Director, Grand Metroplitan PLC (1994-1997); Non-Executive Director, MEPC PLC (1995-1998); Non-Executive Director, Burmah Castrol PLC (1998 to present). Mr. Corbett has an M.A. degree in History from Pembroke College, Cambridge where he was a Foundation Scholar and an M.Sc. degree with Distinction from London Business School. He also attended Harvard Business School on an Exchange Scholarship. Among his interests he is the Chairman of the Governors of Abbot's Hill School. Mr. Corbett is married and has four children.
