JIM FRANKOLA is Chief Financial Officer of Ariba, Inc. Mr. Frankola is
responsible for all of the company's finance functions, including
financial planning, accounting, treasury, taxation, investor relations,
and mergers and acquisitions. He also oversees Ariba's legal and
information technology departments, facilities and real estate. Mr.
Frankola has over 10 years of financial management experience. Prior to
Ariba, he served as vice president of Finance and Business Development
of Avery Dennison's largest business unit, Fasson Roll Worldwide. While
there, he was responsible for financial reporting, financial planning,
strategy, IT operations and development, and mergers and acquisitions.
Previously, Mr. Frankola served as director of Finance for IBM's $8
billion Storage Systems Division and manager of Financial Operations at
IBM Software Group. Mr. Frankola is a certified public accountant and
holds an MBA in international business from New York University and a BS
in accounting from Pennsylvania State University. Profile
