FRED B. DINGER III is President and Chief Executive Officer of
OsteoBiologics, Inc. Mr. Dinger received a Bachelor of Science degree in
Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Science
degree in Engineering Management from the University of South Florida.
He led all orthopedic and ENT product development at Linvatec (now
Conmed) from 1992 to 1996. From 1996 to 2000, he was Vice President of
Research and Development for Xomed (now Medtronic) where he led all ENT
and facial plastic surgery product development. Mr. Dinger served as
Chief Operating Officer for A-Med Systems, Inc., a cardiac surgery
startup, from 2000 to 2002. He has been a key player in developing the
business model of targeting underserved markets, establishing
relationships with 'thought leader' surgeons, developing ideas into
products, and commercializing the resulting devices. This model grew
both Linvatec and Xomed into market share leaders and positioned them
for acquisition by large healthcare companies. Profile
