GERALD W. SMITH is President and Chief Executive Officer and one of the
Founders of Changepoint Corporation, the leading provider of business
automation solutions for professional services organizations. As
President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Smith has led Changepoint
from a startup consulting firm to a global software business focused on
design, development, sales and support of Web-based services automation
software. Mr. Smith's business management and technology expertise has
provided vision and leadership to Changepoint's corporate strategy,
financial operations, and innovative product development. Prior to
Changepoint, Mr. Smith held the position of project manager at Gore &
Storrie Limited, a 450-person engineering consulting practice
headquartered in Toronto, where he was responsible for contributing to
corporate strategy and operational goals. Mr. Smith is a member of the
Young Presidents Association and a member of the Board of Directors of
Brokercom, recently purchased by Open Text. Mr. Smith graduated with a
Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and a Master's
of Business Administration from McMaster University. Mr. Smith is a
