Gregory Maffei – 360networks Corporation

GREGORY B. MAFFEI became the Chief Executive Officer of 360networks Corporation in July 2002 and became the Chairman and a Director of the company in November 2002. Mr. Maffei also was the President of the company from July 2002 to November 2002. Prior to that, he became the Chief Executive Officer of 360networks inc., (the company's predecessor's parent company) in January 2000 and the President of 360networks inc. in March 2000. He also became a Director of 360networks inc., in January 2000. Previously, Mr. Maffei was Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration and CFO of Microsoft Corporation, responsible for the company's worldwide financial, corporate development and strategic investment initiatives. He joined Microsoft in 1993 as Vice President of Corporate Development and Treasurer. Before joining Microsoft, he was a Vice President at Citicorp Venture Capital. Mr. Maffei has an MBA degree from Harvard Business School ' where he was a Baker Scholar ' and a BA degree from Dartmouth College. He is the non- executive Chairman of Expedia, an online travel service, and he serves on the Board of Directors of Starbucks Coffee and Avenue A, an online ad service.
