GARY S. KLEDZIK, Chairman and CEO and a Founder of Miravant Medical
Technologies and has served as Director since its inception in June
1989. He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors since July 1991 and
Chief Executive Officer since September 1992. He served as President
until May 1996. His previous experience includes serving as General and
Research Manager for an Ortho Diagnostic Systems, Inc. division of
Johnson & Johnson; Vice President of Immulok, Inc., a cancer and
infectious disease biotechnology company which he co-founded and which
was acquired by Johnson & Johnson in 1993. Dr. Kledzik holds a BS in
