Thomas Morgan – Hughes Supply Inc (hug)

THOMAS I. MORGAN is President and Chief Executive Officer of Hughes Supply, Inc. He joined the company in April 2001 as President and Chief Operating Officer and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in May 2003. Previously he served as Chief Executive Officer for EnfoTrust Network in Atlanta, Georgia, Value America in Charlottesville, Virginia, and US Office Products in Washington, DC. Mr. Morgan began his career in 1975 at Genuine Parts Company, where he worked for 22 years in positions of increasing responsibility throughout the organization. He concluded his service there as Executive Vice President of S.P. Richards Co., a $1.1 billion subsidiary of GPC. In addition to serving as a Director of Hughes Supply, he also serves on the Boards of Rayonier, Inc., a leading international forest products company engaged in activities associated with timberland management; SunTrust Central Florida, the region's largest financial institution; Enterprise Florida, a public-private partnership responsible for leading Florida's Economic Development; and the Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida. He is also a member of the Florida Council of 100, a private, nonpartisan organization which functions in an advisory role to the Governor, promotes the economic growth of Florida and improves the economic well-being and quality of life of its citizens.
